Interesting tour with one of the famous Malta vintage buses

The Palazzo Parisio was a very interesting and fascinating experience and the history and background was also very well explained by our guide. This place alone was well worth this tour, the Dingly Cliffs were then quite another kind of big experience with their fantastic views. Snacks and drinks offered in Buskett Gardens were a nice last program on this tour. An extra bonus was that the tour was effected by the old Malta bus from the late fifties. Great fun, but although the seats were comfortable there is not much space for people with long legs. But it should not be a major problem, the distances are rather short. Another smaller problem was that it sometimes was difficult to hear what our guide told us during the ride because of the noise from the engine. And perhaps another 3rd sight would have made the tour still better and quite complete, f.i. the Verdala Palace itself, but understand that the palace is rather seldom open for visitors. Anyhow, thanks for an interesting tour.

Incredible day!! Comfy chairs, fun slide, cheap food and drink onboard

We were already excited to go to the blue lagoon but our experience on Hornblower was absolutely incredible! Super friendly staff, loved the top deck with the grass, deck chairs and especially the slide and where you could jump off. The restaurant/bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. I have recommended so many people to this boat tour already. We were in Malta for 2 weeks and went on two other boat companies and we regretting not just going with hornblower every time. Many others don’t have a slide or as good food or drinks. And they did not have a sun deck and you had to pay for snorkels. If you went yourself, it costs €10-15 anyway just to get to the blue lagoon by ferry and you have to sit on jagged sharp rocks and buy the expensive food on Comino. Do yourself a favour, don’t bother with any other companies and BOOK HORNBLOWER now!!

Very fun tour! Bought amazing seafood lunch in Marsaxlokk.

The Blue Grotto was fun. Sit on the left or front of the boat for the best pictures. I was on the right and could not get much. Marsaxlokk is a nice fishing village. Fishing boats are colorful. There is a seafront row of restaurants to choose from. The market is a combination of farmer's market with fresh produce and fish combined with a flea market of souvenirs and cheap clothes etc.

A very interesting and well organized trip

- The travel schedule was rigorously respected - The guide proved leadership qualities and provided detailed explanations on the tourist attractions included in the tour - We had enough time to feel the atmosphere of the places we passed through - Note: The Blue Grotto can be accessed by boat only if the waves are not too high

Short ride, nice staff, had to pay for food and drinks

The boat ride to Comino and Gozo is fairly short. But if the weather is bad you will be cold, as the boat has no walls! Sadly food and drinks are not included in the ticket price, if you book a ride from Captain Morgan in Sliema everything is included. But the staff is very friendly and the boat has a slide to the ocean!!
