The Cathedral of Christ the Savior is a magnificent monument near the holy Kremlin. One of the symbols of the capital, it is symbolic of loss, restoration, oblivion, and rebirth. It was built over the space of 44 years, and 4 Russian Emperors fulfilled a vow on his building. This building also had many famous architects, sculptors, and artists of the 19th century working on its magnificent appearance.
