Full description
Ascend to the summit of Montreal Tower for spectacular views of the entire Greater Montreal region and up to 50 miles of the St. Lawrence River valley. The breathtaking panorama from the observatory has been awarded a 3-star rating by the Michelin Guide.

Discover how a structure with such a dramatic incline can stay standing. The riddle lies in the mass ratio of the building, as the top of the tower has a mass of 8,000 tons permanently attached to the infrastructure and a solid concrete base buried 10 meters below ground. The base has a mass of 145,000 tons (the equivalent of 3 aircraft carriers).

Ride to the top of the tower by a glass-encased funicular that can hold up to 50 passengers. Experience the only funicular in the world that operates on a curved structure. The hydraulic system allows the cabin to remain horizontal during the 2-minute ride to the top.

See the special "Since 1976" exhibit to learn the history of the park and stadium, one of the most visited Olympic sites in the world. Travel through the story of the Olympic Park via different themes that present the stadium's many memorable events and bring it to life before your eyes.

Look at exhibits that detail the construction of the Olympic Stadium, the story of the Olympic Games, and information about the major league baseball and other sports, cultural and public events that have subsequently been held at the stadium.
