Full description
Ascend to the top of the Montréal Tower for spectacular views of the entire Greater Montréal region and up to 50 miles of the St. Lawrence River valley from the observatory.

Ride to the top of the tower by a glass-encased funicular that can hold up to 50 passengers at one time. Experience the only funicular in the world that operates on a curved structure. The hydraulic system allows the cabin to remain horizontal during the 2-minute ride to the top. Discover how a structure with such a dramatic incline can stay standing.

Then, go to the Montréal Botanical Garden and explore one of the city’s jewels. Recognized as one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens, the Montréal Botanical Garden offers a colourful program of events, exhibitions and activities all year long. Marvel at its collection of 22,000 plant species and cultivars, 10 exhibition greenhouses and the Frédéric Back Tree Pavilion. Stroll through more than 20 thematic gardens spread out over 75 hectares.

Located just minutes from downtown Montréal, the Botanical Garden is a veritable living museum of plants from the 4 corners of the globe. Within the Montréal Botanical Garden lies the Insectarium, inviting you to explore the world of insects. Note: The Insectarium will be closed from November 1 2018 - June 2020 for a metamorphosis.
