Masada is breathtaking, the place itself, the view, the history of the region, the Building of the fortress and the history of the famous rebellion... Everything was so interesting, moving, and amazingly told... As an italian girl with a strong passion for history, archeology and art, I'm not so easy to impresa, but at the end of the day I came back to my place feeling so thankful and rich. I recommend the tour to Masada ti everyone and the relaxing couple of hours at the Dead Sea is a pleasurable Moment, the cherry on top of a perfect experience and day. Thank you, Lorne! You've been amazing, at the same time a great "Bard" and story-teller, entertaining, smart and fine, and so precise, scientific and academic. Wish you the best and I hope to come back soon to the amazing Israel
A great tour but the guide drove a bit too fast. He was close to an accident. We didn’t feel comfortable. He guidad and drove and used his telephone at the same time. But on the other side he was very experienced and competent. He could have told us more about the sceduale in the beginning of the trip.
We loved the daytrip to Masada and the Dead Sea. Our guide Ibrahim was excellent in explaining all the stories of the summerpalace of Herodus/ Masada, but also in explaining the difficult political sitiation of Israel/Palestina.
The guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable, did not rush with his explanations; his main concern was for us to learn as much as possible. He took a good care of us in every way. Also, the driver was very good and very nice.
This tour was excellent, specially our tour guide Zuri (I may have spelled his name wrong). I would have planned for more time at the Dead Sea and less at Masada, but either way, it was a great tour. Highly recommended!
