Pleasant way to explore the city sights without time pressure

We opted for the river cruise rather than a bus tour because it was a nice day and the river seemed more appealing than city streets. We had long waits and unfortunately, very large rowdy groups of students who pushed and jostled us, talked loudly throughout the commentary so we could not hear the guide. It was nice to be able to get on and off as we pleased and spend as much time as we cared to at each of the stops. I would recommend this activity, but try not to get onto a boat with large groups who are more interested in selfies and socializing than in the tour. Some of the captains opted for their own narrative rather than the recording which made it much more interested when we could hear it.

We enjoyed the tour and our guide; would have like to see more sites.

We did enjoy the tour, but thought for a 3-hour tour @ $50 we could have seen more sites. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and personable. He used a small iPad to show scenes from the films that correlated with the sites we visited, but visibility was poor and fumbling with bringing the pictures used up time. Frankly, I got as much out of the 2-hour HP tour I took last year with Free Tours on Foot, who are very well organized and use much better printed visuals.

Tom was a fantastic, enthusiastic guide. I would highly recommend him.

Tom was a great tour guide, who had great enthusiasm about Harry Potter, but also the other sights of London. He pointed out other things that we might be interested in seeing while here. The inclusion of the sorting hat and quizzes kept the tour entertaining and encouraged the fan’s competitiveness while keeping it lighthearted and fun. Go Ravenclaw!

The most amazing Harry Potter experience (definitely worth it)

I booked this tour and it was the most amazing Harry Potter experience ever. If you are a true potter fan, you will definitely live this. The guides are so nice and the sights are so interesting. An added bonus is where you get sorted into hogwarts houses and do a trivia as you go. Absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic walking tour for all Harry Potter fans

Really had a great time with this group. Our leader Tom was extremely friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about Harry Potter as well as London itself. We also got to see some of the more hidden parts of the popular areas in the city! Absolutely recommend this for friends and family (kids AND adults alike).
