Full description
Discover Milford Sound’s best value, most relaxed and entertaining 2–hour cruise to the Tasman Sea. Make your own way to the Milford Sound Visitor Terminal to embark on your adventure. You might like to consider staying overnight in beautiful Te Anau, Manapouri, or surrounding areas to shorten the drive time.

Arrive with plenty of time to find parking and make your way to the visitor terminal. Allow 30 to 45-minutes (in summer) to ensure you can board your cruise vessel in time. Set sail to get up close and personal with the wonders of the fiord. Take in the beauty of the waterfalls and towering peaks, with commentary from an experienced local guide.

Penguins, dolphins, seals and a variety of birdlife call Milford Sound home so keep your eyes peeled for that once in a lifetime photo opportunity. Glorious on a fine day, Milford Sound’s ethereal, moody beauty in the rain is equally spectacular. Enjoy 2-hours around the fiord and experience the spray of the waterfalls from the safety of inside the boat - or be brave and get right under it.
