Regular service at extra price

Of course the Last supper and the exhibition around is a masterpiece, you need to see once in a lifetime. The guide told some basic facts and interesting stories, though all these can be found on the internet easily. The guide also told a tale about people willing to buy tickets even for 100 EUR or more, aiming that we were lucky to get our tickets for only 44 EUR/person. This bugged my mind, as being a family of 3 people, we paid 132 EUR to the agency, so around 100 EUR extra comparing to the regular price of the tickets (that would be 12 EUR/person), just because these agencies buy all the available tickets in advance, and you can not get any from the official counter at the regular price.

Make sure you arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time. This tour has about 30 people on it and it includes immediate access to the masterpiece. Tour guide talked us through the painting and the history of it in great detail. It was an excellent tour and much better than if we attended on our own.
