What people are saying about Milan
What wasn’t great was the confusion around the pick up point. I booked my tour online and what was offered were 2 pick up points, one by the Dio,o, the other at Stazione Centrale. On receiving the Mobile Voucher, the pick up point highligted was the only the one at the Duomo. We took at taxi there at the cost of 11€, and to our surprising the independent tour guide said we would going soon to collect the others from the Stazione Centrale. We were annoyed to say the least, as we were staying within 7mins walk to the station and could have saved both time and money by walking there, which was what we were planning on doing. Please get the mobile voucher updated to show both options to customers to stop this confusion. The tour leader was not interested in mentioning this to his employers.
Me and my husband didn't like a headphones very much. Also the whole system of it. The guide was always looking her own way and just talking in to the headphones. We didn't feel a connection or a close relationship. The restaurant that was recommended in Bellagio was very expensive and I would say nothing special. We really had a better experiences about the restaurants on another similar trips.
Full day trip, well informed every step of the way, fantastic views, can't fault anything, plenty of time to wonder off for lunch or see other interesting things. Bus driver was amazing weaving in and out of the narrow roads, also the guide was excellent at explaining the history and other interesting things. Excellent time keeping throughout the day.
Had an awesome guide and driver. however, traveling time was rather long. Only had about 2 and half hours in Venice, and the rest was spent on traveling. The location from the app was not accurate, as the location listed was opposite a hotel, a hotel staff came out to ask me to walk a little round the corner and check for the buses.
Marco the guide was very professional and explained what we were going to visit. He was very knowledgeable of the areas we visited and made our trip enjoyable and memorable. The bus driver Franco was very pleasant and friendly too .
