What people are saying about Mexico City

Perfect tour for an introduction to Mexico

We started the tour in the Museum of Anthtropology and stayed there more than 3 hours. A wonderfull start. The museum is a must-see because of the most comprehensive presentation of the pre-spanish aera. After a short lunch break our guide Edgar took us on a walking tour around the city center of Mexico City. This completed this first introduction to the city. It was really good being on this tour with 8 people only. No doubt Edgar is very knowledgeable but he MUST improve his English! In many cases it was nearly impossible to spot what he wanted to put across to us. Members from the group helped me which was really good. In the end I was a bit disappointed that the pick-up from my hotel did not work out. I must admit my hotel was not in Mexico City itself. But that this would be prohibitve to the pick-up was not clearly stated in the terms of the tour. A big plus was the phone help-line of Get-your-guide. Easy access, reliable and competent. Go for this tour!

Fun & Informational guide, excellent group sites & fun travellers!

Kevin our guide was great at explaining everything in both Spanish & English. He knew a lot of information about all of the places we visited and was really a fun person to travel with. Our group bonded well and everything really ran so smoothly. The sites were worth visiting and gave a great taste of multiple locations. Felt a little rushed but overall did get a great overview of the sites. Will go back to a few places in the future and spend more time. Thanks for a great tour!

A truly informative and enjoyable day, thanks to Lygia and our driver.

Our whole family liked the visit to Guadalupe shrine and the interesting things that our guide Lygia told us about the basilica. She also brought us to the house of Juan Diego where our Lady appeared to him. This was very touching. We also enjoyed our visit to the Teotihuacan Pyramids and learning about their history and uses. The whole park was very clean and very nice to walk in (and climb some pyramids, both big and small).

I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to visit the pyramids.

Well organized, very informative, comfortable coach, overall good value for money. We didn't choose the lunch inclusive option but the buffet lunch we did have was very good & reasonably priced. The guide was very knowledgeable & his English was very good. He coped very well with doing duel languages of Spanish & English. Make sure you have a sun hat & sunscreen because you do spend quite a bit of time out in the sun.

If you are going to Mexico, you've got to go to Taxco!

Taco is a delightful old-European-style city that was a unique experience. It's beautiful to see and a marvelously relaxing day. The shop people are very warm and down-to-Earth without that oversell pressure that is typical in Mexico. Our guide was an affable young man, glad to answer questions, who gave us some unique perspectives. I could have skipped Cuernevaca, but at lease we didn't spend much time there...
