What people are saying about Medellín

Enjoyable day trip to Santa Fe de Antioquia.

If you are visiting Medellin, you should certainly consider a side trip to Santa Fe. It's a beautiful town in which to see what life is like outside the big city. I enjoyed the walk across the Puente de Occidente bridge where I took some amazing photos of the scenery. In the town of Santa Fe, the tour stopped for lunch at a nice restaurant where food was served buffet style. The walk around the town's main plaza was charming, and was another opportunity for photos. The tour ended at another town square where local vendors sold fruit, handcrafts, and snacks. Just a few things to note: Santa Fe can get quite hot, so dress appropriately. Also, use sunscreen. Bring an umbrella...it's good for rain or to shade yourself from the intense sun at the bridge. This tour is 100% in Spanish, so if you don't have some fluency in the language, you may want to book a tour in your language. Finally, be ready to depart Medellin by 7 am, even though the listing gives an 8 am departure time.

An in-depth, personal and exciting tour I would recommend to all!

Line, our tour guide was absolutely amazing! This was more than just a Pablo Escobar tour, but rather an in-depth cultural lesson of the history of Colombia and Medellín. There was not a single question Lina didn’t have an answer to and then more. She was very in tune to our interests and even shared a light lunch with us at one of the spots. This was a tour I was looking forward to prior to my trip and I don’t usually book tours, but this time around I’m glad I did. It did not fail to impress and by far a highlight of my trip! Thank you and especially thank you Lina!!

The tour was filled with a lot of informations and local culture.

The tour guide was very friendly, had a lot of valuable information about the whole history of Medellín, he knows some local people and helps the kids of Comuna 13, not only because Óscar is an english teacher as well as he took the visitors to the local business where we were offered breakfast and some drinks as it was included in the whole tour package. I want to thank Óscar once again for the nice day and the cultural trip of such an amazing Comuna.

A wonderful, information, delightful day

The tour is wonderful. Carlos is even better. His knowledge and pride in the city is not surprising. His sense of humor and desire to share his love of Medellin and its residents makes the day a truly special event. Carlos talks with everyone, seems to know everyone and his smile is contagious. We were thoroughly entertained, impressed and awed by where he took us and what he shared. If you can book Carlos for a tour you'll have a great, memorable time.

Amazing Tour and Amazing Guide...Silvio!!!

The tour guide Silvio, made this tour so much more than what it was - amazing authentic experience to see the real Medellin, majaestic views, local street foods, super creative neighborhood artwork, and so much more. Silvio is probably one of the best tour guides I’ve had. Keep in mind, this is a very urban side of Medellin.
