What people are saying about Marsaxlokk
The Blue Grotto was fun. Sit on the left or front of the boat for the best pictures. I was on the right and could not get much. Marsaxlokk is a nice fishing village. Fishing boats are colorful. There is a seafront row of restaurants to choose from. The market is a combination of farmer's market with fresh produce and fish combined with a flea market of souvenirs and cheap clothes etc.
- The travel schedule was rigorously respected - The guide proved leadership qualities and provided detailed explanations on the tourist attractions included in the tour - We had enough time to feel the atmosphere of the places we passed through - Note: The Blue Grotto can be accessed by boat only if the waves are not too high
The tour provided great convenience for us to travel to Blue Grotto & Marsaxlokk. The guide was very friendly. I wish we could have received more information about the history and maybe fun facts / little stories about the places, such as the livelihood, people, culture, etc. The tour will be more entertaining and memorable.
The trip was extremely entertaining and the guide was very informative and interactive. The only reason I didn't provide 5 stars was the wait time to actually begin the trip (timely picking up everyone). All in all well worth it and a great experience!
Would have preferred more time at the blue grotto, would have liked a swim but the organisation was excellent, the coach was air conditioned and the driver and guide was really informative and helpful.
