Great evening cruise and excellent view of the Hungarian Parliament

I booked this activity on the day - I was happy with the price paid, the welcome drink I got was tasty, and we got an amazing view of the Hungarian Parliament as the boat went up and back down the Danube river. I would recommend arriving fairly early so you can grab a seat outside at the front or the back of the boat. Having said that, even though we arrived probably 5 minutes before the boat was due to depart and all the outside seats were taken by that point, but we were still able to stand at outside at the rear of the boat (leaning against the railings) and got excellent views anyway! Would do again.

Nice cruise overall considering the price

For the price of the cruise it was good. There was a delay in boarding and during the cruise due to the additional restrictions on the Danube. The welcome drink was disappointing so we just ordered drinks once we set off. There’s no commentary, live music or anything with this but that’s what we wanted, a ‘no frills’ approach... if you get onboard, sit outside as that’s the only way to get a really good view.

Great tour to see the highlights of Budapest!

We were a group of 14 people composed mostly of seniors and so our pace was a bit slow as could be expected. Our guide Mikhail was amazing and completely accommodating! We never felt rushed throughout the tour. He took us to the beautiful sites of Budapest and explained the history and stories behind the sites. He was very engaging and lively. Perfect tour if you only have a few short days in the city.

Nice cruise on the river with good food and entertainment

This is a nice way to see the sights of Budapest from the river. It was well organised, the staff were very friendly and attentive. I was a little worried about the food having read the reviews but I need not have worried. It isn’t cordon bleu but is it of high quality and nicely presented. The piano battle is a bit cheesy but piano music as a back drop to the night cruise was perfect.

Really good way to see Budapest in its limelight.

Welcome Drink was a vodka slush and was really nice. Seating inside was dark so when get on need to make sure get a seat outside at the front or back. Staff very friendly. Sun had set so was great to see all the buildings lit up so check when the sun sets as to when you book.
