Fab way to see beautiful Budapest by night

The meeting point is situated around a 10-15 minute walk from Jaszai Mari ter along the riverside, and was relatively easy to distinguish from the other docks. Upon arriving we were a little concerned about the state of the boat, and relieved when we realise our boat was behind another boat being renovated. The free cup of mulled wine was welcomed. There was also an option to purchase more drinks if you wanted. There was a choice of seats inside or outside, if you could brave the cold, although blankets were available. Glad we chose the cruise at 6pm as it coencided with sunset, and we got to see the city transform as the lights gradually came on. Perfect if you want an hour long no frills cruise, which is just what we were after. Was quick getting on the boat and showing the mobile ticket.

Great evening cruise and excellent view of the Hungarian Parliament

I booked this activity on the day - I was happy with the price paid, the welcome drink I got was tasty, and we got an amazing view of the Hungarian Parliament as the boat went up and back down the Danube river. I would recommend arriving fairly early so you can grab a seat outside at the front or the back of the boat. Having said that, even though we arrived probably 5 minutes before the boat was due to depart and all the outside seats were taken by that point, but we were still able to stand at outside at the rear of the boat (leaning against the railings) and got excellent views anyway! Would do again.

Its a fun tour choice but needs improvement

Interesting option for a city bus tour, love the river bus/boat idea. The guide was very enthusiastic and I was impressed by how many languages she could speak. But I would suggest making the boat tour shorter. After 30 mins it just gets a little boring as its moving quite slow. Maybe getting another splash ramp would make it easier to go back to land somewhere near city center. Also, each seat has its own headphones, I suggest to take your own earphones due to hygienic reasons, plus some of them didn't work anyway.

Smooth purchasing ticket & wonderful sailing trip

Cheap and easy to purchase a ticket, when all you want is 1h boat trip. When talking to a salesman, they are trying to make you buy day passes and packages where you can hop-off and hop-on as you wish. But we were only interested in 1h boat trip at. 14.00. Trip was fantastic (exept for 6 young ppl having a party, disturbing our changes of hearing some history from the speakers) Beautiful city and definitely worth a visit!

Nice cruise overall considering the price

For the price of the cruise it was good. There was a delay in boarding and during the cruise due to the additional restrictions on the Danube. The welcome drink was disappointing so we just ordered drinks once we set off. There’s no commentary, live music or anything with this but that’s what we wanted, a ‘no frills’ approach... if you get onboard, sit outside as that’s the only way to get a really good view.
