Full description
Within minutes of departing, discover the picturesque fishing village of Xemxija and the white sandy beach of Mistra Bay. Following that, pass by St. Paul’s Island, where the apostle who brought Christianity to Europe was ship wrecked. As you head up the coast, discover the wild rugged coastline of the northern coast, with its many beautiful bays, cliffs, coves, and caves.

Your first 15-minute swimming break is to the secluded Imgiebah Bay, which has managed to keep its wild beauty thanks to its inaccessibility. As you continue along the coast, pass by Malta’s biggest sandy beach: Mellieha Bay. The next stop is another hidden hard-to-access gem: the Coral Lagoon. This area is a naturally formed roofless cave with crystal clear turquoise waters.

Following the lagoon, head to the Island of Comino where you stop at the Santa Maria Caves, known locally as the Pirate Caves. This is a fascinating cave system consisting of gulleys, caverns, tunnels, and caves. The area is well known as a snorkelers paradise in which you can expect to be mobbed by banded sea bream.
