Full description
Your walking tour begins at the Conde de Guadalhorce Dam, which is the main water reserve in the province of Malaga. Learn from your guide about the history of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. This canyon, carved by the Guadalhorce River, is at the center of the province.

The path is about 3 kilometers long and less than 1 meter wide. It hangs 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River. You will test your nerves on this high-up adventure.

The path is known as El Caminito del Rey (the little pathway of the king) because it was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII. Discover this dizzying historic path on this tour.

You should be at the meeting point 15 minutes beforehand. Then the tour starts about 30 minutes after the booked time. The hike itself is just beautiful! I would do it again and again. The guide (Rachel) was very fun, personable and helpful. She helped us in the difficult places and talked us down soothingly (we were a little afraid of heights). She also told a lot of interesting things about the Caminito del Rey. The route is 7.5 km long and easy to manage. The way back is by bus; it costs € 1.55. You could have communicated that beforehand. Otherwise, I can recommend this excursion to everyone who is reasonably good on foot and who gets his fear of heights under control.

If you have to be there at a quarter to nine and only leave with the group at 9.30 am. And then wait another 45 minutes at the entrance. Some groups were allowed to go ahead, even individual travelers could enter immediately. These organizations buy all the individual tickets and then sell them with a guide at a multiple of the price.

Supposedly, it should also be possible to get early in the morning cards, even if over the Internet everything as, Sold out, is expelled. Such tickets are only sold at the entrance (after the tunnel). So not at El Kiosko. Long possibly futile approach. Alternatively: keep looking at the website because of short-term vacant seats or combined ticket of the train try
