Begin your tour with pickup at your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius then make your way to the unique Biscuiterie Rault, a factory where manioc (cassava) biscuits have been produced for over 100 years. Sample these very special biscuits with a good cup of tea.

Next, experience the authentic ambiance of the old town of Mahébourg during a short walk through its old streets. Visit the traditional market and the pretty Naval Museum, which commemorates the famous battle of Grand Port in 1810. Stop to savor an authentic Creole lunch at Karay Mario, a small delightful restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit Ile aux Aigrettes, the island nature reserve in the lagoon, and appreciate the conservation efforts of the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation, which works to preserve the endemic flora and fauna of Mauritius. The tour concludes with drop-off at your accommodation.
