What a treat this dinner cruise was! The captain, Boris, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The waiters were wonderful and the food (we opted for fish) was amazing. The couple next to us got engaged when he dropped down on one knee and proposed under the kissing bridge. I can’t promise that will happen on your cruise, but it was worth the money for a special evening in Amsterdam .
My friends and I enjoyed riding around the boat and seeing the city from a different angle. They have an audio guide as well - you put earphones in, and a pre-recorded message plays at various intervals - but we didn’t find it engaging enough and opted instead to just sit outside and watch the city (without hearing the historical tidbits)
The Heineken experience is very interactive and fun - even if you are not a beer drinker. We did the canal ride afterwards and it was very relaxing. Got some great pictures! We sat in the bow of the boat so we didn’t get to hear the guide at all but still a wonderful ride.
Heineken experience was worth the money. If you do a canal cruise do one with a boat with no roof. The boats they use has a roof and you can’t see much. We ended up trying another canal cruise with no roof and it was awesome. Book your canal cruise separate
OK experience overall. Staff is extremely friendly. Terribly access for people with disabilities, very confusing to “walk” around. Boat ride is quite far from the factory. But quite good to do.
