Excellent in every way!

We were very happy with Alfonso as our guide on this tour of Spanish wine and ham! Alfonso is extremely knowledgeable about his city and a wealth of information. We first enjoyed wine and tapas at a very special historic restaurant (to learn about the wine), and then had a wonderful visit to a historic ham (+ other delicacies!) store, where we enjoyed cava + fantastic ham, cheese and olive oil (and learned a lot about Iberico Bellota ham). We thoroughly recommend this tour!

Excellent!

We had an excellent moment together with our host, Pedro! We were visiting one of the very old establishment having a sample of a very traditional dish and afterwards spent hours at a 'Jamoneria' tasting an excellent variety of spanish cured ham and cheese. We were introduced to few good wines as well. Pedro being a true 'Madrileno' gave us a lot of facts about quality of ham, preference and taste of locals and as much of history of Madrid as we wanted. We learnt a lot that day! A great introduction to Madrid.

Amazing is the only way to describe!

This tour was all that we dreamed it would be! Pedro was so full of enthusiasm and knowledge of wine, jamon, culture, history and everything else Madrid and Spain that I felt like a local. We had a small group which made it nice so that we could talk with Pedro and to each other. The stops on this tour were perfect! We stopped at the oldest tavern in Madrid for a glass of wine and some traditional soup/stew that Madrid is known for. We moved on to the Jamon portion (with more wine
