The Monastery of El Escorial was built under the reign of powerful King Philip II. Designed as a residence of kings, a monastery, and a pantheon to the royal family, it has since become a symbol of the great power of the Spanish empire during that time.

Your visit will include tours of the monastery, the Hall of Battles, the Museum of Architecture, the Cloister of the Four Evangelists, the Palace of Philip II, the Pantheon of the Kings and the Basilica.
