What people are saying about Macau
Our guide was humorous, insightful, well informed and met the needs of our group and the weather conditions. The tour group expressed a desire not to go up the tower because of the heavy fog and he treated us to a walking tour of the old city instead. What a bonus! Wehad comfortable ferry rides and saw quite a bit of Macau, more than was advertised because everything went so smoothly. Lunch was a marginally acceptable buffet meal at what was reported to be a 4 star restaurant. The 2 and a 1/2 star meal is what keeps me from giving this tour 5 stars.
From the beginning it was very well organised. We were both picked up and dropped back at our hotel, our guide in Macau Mario was both interesting and entertaining he had a great knowledge of the history of the area being a local there for over 30 years and originally from Portugal. Our lunch was a buffet with a great choice of food and although the tour duration was over 11 hours it seemed to go very quickly. Well recommended.
After being picked up at Hotel and taken to Ferry, Henrietta met us in Macau and was an excellent guide. All points of interest were covered followed by an excellent lunch in the revolving restaurant at Macau tower and a chance to visit casinos. Highly recommend this tour.
Guide Albert was very pleasant and entertaining. St Paul’s was highlight. The tower was awesome. Lunch was so so. Return boat trip was rough. Several people vomited. Overall 4 out of 5.
Guide was happy to alter the tour programme to fit in with our interests as it was a small group - so that was much appreciated.
