What people are saying about Luxembourg
We had an accident with your vehicle colliding with one of the city bus. However the driver did not panic . He safely parked the vehicle at the side of the road and ensured that we were arranged with the next transport for the city tour.
We change the rpinted voucher at the information desk in Luxembourg. It was very easy and quick done. The hop on hop off procedure was done as described. we spent the whole day on the tour and got a thourough impression of Luxembourg. My only recommendation is to extend the last tour. To stop in summer time at 5:20 pm is a bit short.
We have used guided bus tours before so knew what to expect. I booked a ticket on line but didn’t manage to put my ticket in my phone’s wallet. The driver was able to help us by letting us hop on the bus to the main station where he pointed us to a print shop where we were able to print a valid ticket. Once we had the ticket we were able to access both tour routes. The blue route 1 is the longer of the two, you can listen to a commentary in English. If the weather is up to it you can ride in the open section of the bus, if not there is downstairs, but the views are not so good. In bad weather they put a cover of the top deck. The blue route takes over an hour, the shorter red route,, Less than an hour.
Bus was on time at Luxembourgh train station, where we boarded it. Driver exchanged our printed vouchers for tickets promptly.Tour is 1 hour, good way to get orientation of luxembourgh. Limited to new part of luxembourgh, Grund (old city) not included in iternary due to narrow roads.we took a tour train from the casement location which covered old city well. Will recommend, good value for money.
Tour has two lines. We rode both before spending the late afternoon and evening in Grand Place. It was a good way to see the sights outside the central core or the city.
