What people are saying about Lucerne
Really liked this trip. It was nice to let someone else handle the details of the day. Tickets and driving with engaging tour guide both ways. Kinda like a field trip. They take you there, hand out everything you need and then you can run around at your own pace. Very fun day. They even arranged for a sunny day. . Overall great trip. Thanks guys!
Keep your camera ready all the time, the whole way return can see a lot of stunning views, great value. Choose a better season without raining, then you may see more beautiful views with sunshine, but we were able to see snowing at the top of Jungfrau this time during rainy day.
Lots of space and nice to have a cool breeze during the 2019 heat wave. Good audio recording information. Beautiful clean boat. Easy to find departure times and book online with getyourguide.com if the ticket kiosk is closed. Pier7 across from the Sweitzerhoff Hotel.
The visit to Mt. Pilatus is breathtaking and ending it with a beautiful trip around Lake Lucerne was very well worth it. We had a beautiful sunny day. And it’s an easy bus trip from central Lucerne to Kriens, where you begin your trip up the mountain on a gondola.
As long as you don't mind a few stairs you will get some amazing views. The first cable car stop had a lot of interesting things to do I would like to have had more time there but we were racing potential bad weather. Still a wonderful day.
