What people are saying about Luang Prabang
We had a fantastic morning making knives using traditional techniques and tools. The master was extremely friendly, despite the language barrier. (The tour guide was a great translator). Amazing to have such a hands on experience and nice to break a sweat in the heat and over the roaring furnace! A real highlight of our stay in Luang Prabang, and really proud of our stunning souvenir. Recommend to wear long trousers and shoes, we didn’t and are both fine, but red hot metal can fly! Highly recommend. (Water and fruit provided at break times!)
What a fun morning and overall excellent experience. Make sure to disassemble for transportation and make sure your bow can fit in suitcase!!!!!
This tour was average. The guide was excellent - very knowledgeable and good English, but as a single traveller, this might be better served with a minimum number of participants. If you are traveling as a group, I would recommend this tour, if you are traveling alone, find some others to go with you before signing up.
