What people are saying about London

Excellent Guide, more traveling time than expected.

Our guide, Phil, was excellent - knowledgeable and pleasant. I would have preferred spending more time in the village of Bourton on the Water, or another village, perhaps purchasing lunch there after a stroll around the village, led by the tour guide. I would have loved it if we had been given an hour to eat lunch and wander around the shops after the tour. I understand that we may not have been able to have the picnic lunch in the park or see Broadway Tower, but Bourton on the Water was a delightful village and I wish we could have spent more time there. Our tour of Oxford was informative and fun, and we had the right amount of time to explore and shop. The bus driver, Greg, was also very personable.

Great guide. Fast way to get your Harry Potter fix.

My 13-year-old daughter and I really enjoyed this guided tour of London. We got to walk through fun parts of London and learn about some of the harry potter movie shots that happened there. One possible improvement: At the end of the tour, we took the tube up to Kings Cross station and ultimately that part probably could have been skipped. When we got there, the line to pose at the nine and three-quarter station was over an hour long to wait. We decided to go back the next morning at 8 AM. However, our guide also told us about an awesome Harry Potter location to check out near Leicester Square called: House of Minalmia. So much awesome stuff in this free location. Be sure to check it out!

Hidden connections we could never have found!

Anais was so generous with her knowledge and time - especially as it was a 34 degree day in London and it could have been hard going. She met us at the Whitechapel art gallery, and took us through laneways and markets and showed us hidden connections in Spitalfields and Shoreditch which allowed us to retrace our steps and return to vintage clothing stores, cafes and streetscapes we'd seen along the way. We couldn't have found our way with her. We have 3 kids (aged 11-15). They loved the street art in particular!

We enjoyed the tour and our guide; would have like to see more sites.

We did enjoy the tour, but thought for a 3-hour tour @ $50 we could have seen more sites. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and personable. He used a small iPad to show scenes from the films that correlated with the sites we visited, but visibility was poor and fumbling with bringing the pictures used up time. Frankly, I got as much out of the 2-hour HP tour I took last year with Free Tours on Foot, who are very well organized and use much better printed visuals.

Big Ben is phenomenal and I was nearly in tears or overjoyed with tour

I found your tour guide ‘big Ben’ both informative and inspiring. His vast knowledge of WWII history, London history, architecture, Harry Potter, and all things J.K. Rawling was inspirational. Please continue to do these Harry Potter tours with Ben as he is ‘gold’ for your company. He seems to have a good connection with the locals, and his sense of humour is ‘wicked.’ Well done Ben!!!
