Full description
The most famous prehistoric monument in the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Stonehenge stands alone on the vastness of the Salisbury Plain. Its origins date back nearly 5,000 years and its purpose has continued to be a subject of public debate.

Questions such as what this vast collection of stones was intended for and whether it was an observatory of the moon, a temple to the sun, or an elaborate cemetery have arisen over the decades.

On this full-day tour you’ll have a chance to explore the site and do your best to unlock the secrets as you marvel at this remarkable and mysterious feat of ancient engineering and design.

Next you’ll head to Bath, arriving in time for lunch (not included in the tour price). With fabulous restaurants, teahouses, sandwich and coffee shops, and classic British pubs, you’ll have plenty of choices for a place to eat!

Bath is a beautiful Georgian city with delightful crescents and terraces and stunning architecture. Following a scenic drive into the heart of the city, there will be plenty of time to explore the city at your leisure.

Visit the Roman Baths that were built nearly 2,000 years ago. The magnificent Roman public bath complex and Roman temple were constructed over Britain's only natural hot water spring. At this World Heritage Site you can walk around the steaming pool on the Roman paving stones and admire the ancient Roman statues and architecture.

See Bath Abbey and the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge, modelled on the famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence. In addition, you might like to see the Jane Austen Centre, and the elegant Assembly Rooms built in 1771.

Shop, explore, and take afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while listening to live classical music.

I feel this was worth the ticket price. We did not have to wait in line for our tickets or to receive our tour audio packs. Stonehenge was a fascinating, once in a lifetime experience! We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guides Ben and Andre we're very knowledgeable. The Roman baths were fascinating and we had time to stroll the streets of this lovely city. We enjoyed our fish and chips at a restaurant called Seafood that had very reasonable prices. Toured a beautiful cathedral, did a bit of shopping and enjoyed live music in the town square! Would highly recommend this tour!

Great way to spend your day

The tour itself includes nothing proprietary, however, I did this tour because I did not want to worry about the transportation. I'm not sure if the tour is overpriced, as the entry to Stonehenge, Roman Baths, and Transporation is the only thing you're technically paying for. Stonehenge I believe is worth the visit at least once in your lifetime, I wasn't a big fan of the Roman Baths but a lot of people were. The tour guide was very informative with a great sense of humor. Overall Recommendation: Do the tour if you cannot find reliable transportation otherwise.
