Full description
Day 1:

Step back in time to The Cotswolds. Visit Cirencester, and some of the smaller Cotswold villages. Continue to Ironbridge, perched on the River Severn. Overnight in the pretty English city of Chester. Walk the Roman walls, the Roman ruins, the Chester Cathedral and the River Dee along the way.

Day 2:

Spend the morning in Chester, then head west to Wales across the Llanberis Pass. Discover Snowdonia National Park, visit Conwy and its castle, and see the Thomas Telford Suspension Bridge before returning to Chester for a second night.

Day 3:

Visit the Peak District National Park's stunning views and bustling market towns. Stop in the spa town of Buxton, the highest elevated market town in England! Make your way to Bakewell, home to Chatsworth House. Spend your third evening in York, the most haunted city in Europe.

Day 4:

Take an entire day to explore York at your own leisure!

Day 5:

Enjoy a train trip along the East Coast Line to Edinburgh. Spend the evening in Edinburgh before heading north.

Day 6: 

Journey through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Cross Rannoch Moor and  Glen Coe. Stop at Eilean Donan castle to explore, then cross the bridge to Skye for your overnight stop. 

Day 7: 

Spend a day exploring the Isle of Skye, with a stop in Portree for lunch.

Day 8: 

Visit the world–famous Loch Ness. Tour Urquhart Castle and hop onto a Jacobite Cruise to Nessie spot on the loch itself. Stop at Culloden Battlefield, before you continue south to Pitlochry; a pretty town perched next to the river Tummel, before returning to Edinburgh.
