What people are saying about London
I’ve been on this tour both self guided with a regular ticket and now through this tour. This was by far the better experience. It was so great having someone guide us there so we didn’t question once if we got the correct trains/bus. Our tour guide once there was passionate and knowledgeable. Got so much info I didn’t already know. I felt like I had special access as he interacted with props in a way regular people could not. I did an early morning session on a Saturday and was able to go through the exhibit AGAIN a little slower and take even more photos. I would say the cost was worth it, and a big thank you to our guide who made my trip extra special!
This was such a wonderful tour even though we did have some rain the day we went! Despite the rain, our guide made our tour very enjoyable and worked the itinerary to best fit the day's weather. The Seven Sisters are absolutely beautiful and you have the opportunity to see them from three or four different spots! The rest of South Downs National Park is also very rich with history and is quite beautiful and relaxing. There are plenty of opportunities to get amazing pictures as the tour is very well paced and our guide encouraged us to take our time. We even had a chance to go down to the beach near the Seven Sisters (of course this depends on the tide)! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and upbeat; he made the tour even better! Even after our tour was over, our guide gave people the option to stay and explore Brighton (he gave those who stayed in Brighton our train tickets back to London). Definitely take this tour! You will not be disappointed! Would highly recommend!
The tour was organized very well and on time ! Phill our guide is great, high professional, he knows a lot about UK history and was sharing very interesting and excited facts of it. We love every minute of his stories.
I was so impressed with this tour Oliver our tour guide was charming, funny, courteous, and full of interesting tid bits to share. He made the entire experience a joy. He even went above and beyond to share London tips like the oyster card, tube maps, and make sure we all knew how to get to our next destination when the tour was over. I couldnt believe how comfortable the bus was! I was very jet lagged and actually was able to take a nap in between 2 of the attractions
Lawrence is perhaps the best guide of any tour in my decades of touring. He knows the South Downs intimately like the back of his hand and you visit amazing places and see views that others do not even know about! Marvel at the full drama of the Seven Sisters as you firstly view down from the top of the highest of these immense chalk cliffs then soon after take a steep stair down a smaller cliff to sea level to feel dwarfed by the sheer vertical walls of white above you. Learn in simple terms about the amazing geology of the South Downs and the importance of the cliffs to human occupation and defence since Neolithic times to today. Drive though the rich pastoral and agricultural downs, find out about the interesting weald and Devils Ditch then sample the country foods and ciders at Middle Farm. All this and more makes a never to be forgotten day on the South Downs that Lawrence loves to share with his guests.
