We had a good day in Botswana and saw lots of animals, despite it being the rainy season. Only saw one of the big 5 (elephants), but saw numerous birds, impala, antelope, hippo, baboons and giraffe. We even saw a hyena on the return trip to Zimbabwe. The Botswana company used for this particular excursion appears to be quite small, as there was only my wife & I on the trip (other excursions appeared to have 20 - 30 people on them). This meant was had our own guide for the day, who was very good. The game drive in the morning lasted 2 hours, 30 minutes, which was less than the 3 hours that I expected. Buffet lunch was excellent and included 3 courses. Afternoon boat trip was in a small boat, enabling you to get close to the river bank. Boat trip lasted about 2 hours, again less than I was expecting. Transportation was good throughout and border crossings were very easy, although had to wait 40 minutes at the border on the return for another trip to return. Overall, an enjoyable trip.

I had a great time with Enoch and his team on our my full day trip on the Zambezi river. I have never tried white water rafting before, and the guys took safety and security seriously as we started with a safety briefing and got us all geared up properly. The team was friendly and funny, took us through the 25 thrilling rapids and gave us a good lunch afterwards. Tip: bring a set of dry clothes the guys can keep for you, make sure to eat a good breakfast and wear/bring sunscreen. The full day is full on, and I would say you need some fitness level to enjoy it completely. If unsure, join for the half day trip first. I booked this trip because the guys involved are from the local community, so you should do the same! You will not regret it. Lots of action :)

Nothing goes perfectly planned but the guides (Simon and fortune and boat crew) worked hard to meet the program and tackle unannounced changes created my the management and other not so easy going tourists. Overall, they make up for today’s scarcity of big animals. Suggestions: made 1 option to pay for entry fees in advance.. Also, I noticed that with the heat and humidity kids and some adults can get tired. Perhaps, under the instructions remind customers to pack light snacks and small energy drinks for eventualities.

Lovely journey to Botswana through Zambia and Botswana to Chobe. The park was lovely and very green this time of year. We saw a great variety of birds and animals especially very close to a mother and baby elephant. Also two Male lions. The cruise on the Chobe river we saw hippos crocodiles buffalo and birds as well as various antelope. Unfortunately being the rainy season it rained and reduced our views. Guides were excellent and it was a very enjoyable day .

The best adventure activity at the Zambezi river! Enock and the team made sure we had a fabulous day with facts about the river and playing games in between the excitement of the rapids. We finished off the best day with a delicious lunch cooked by Mike. If you are looking for a thrilling and unforgettable experience then this is the activity for you.
