What people are saying about Liverpool
An iconic football club which provided a most memorable sneak peek inside the inner workings and day to day running of the club. Staff were accessible, friendly and more than happy to share their knowledge. Being able to get a first hand look at dressing rooms, the tunnel, get pitch side and experience the dug out was spectacular! An amazing stadium and experience. More than rivals the stadium tour of FC Barcelona. We even saw staff at a local pub a couple of hours after the tour. They remembered us and were still happy to talk all things Liverpool FC and football!
Lenny our tour guide was so funny and made the tour even better. It was a great experience and would recommend any Liverpool fan to go and do the tour of Anfield :)
Excellent - BUT the queue to try and obtain the photograph of myself and my grandson with the Champions League Cup was the the only downpoint. After the tour you don't want to wait for ever to get this as was our experience. EVENTUALLY WE GAVE UP AND LEFT! A sale lost and we were not the only ones affected. Some improvement required here.
Although the Beatles Story was brilliant the same cannot be said about the organisation of the staff when trying to gain admittance. Considering it was a Saturday there was two queues of people trying to get in with only one out of three tills in operation. Had to wait at least 20 minutes to get in and queues did not move evenly with people who arrived after us gaining admittance before us. Staff seemed overwhelmed about how many people would be attending.
The only slight negative was the head phones were more complicated for us “oldies” spent quite a bit of time sussing them out so looking at that more than exhibits! Otherwise Brilliant!
