Full description
From Lisbon, you begin your private full-day tour crossing the farming region of Ribatejo on the way to Fátima, where you’ll make your first stop. See the Sanctuary that draws around 5 million visitors annually, and the homes of the 3 little shepherds who saw the apparitions of the Virgin Mary.

The tour then heads to the village of Batalha, where you’ll visit the 14th-century Monastery of Batalha, a World Heritage site and one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal. It was built following Portugal's unlikely victory in the historically important Battle of Ajubarrota. Enjoy some free time at the Monastery.

Drive along the Atlantic coast to picturesque Nazaré village, situated atop a cliff with tremendous views over the Atlantic and white sand beaches. You’ll visit the Sanctuary of Lady of Nazaré, and enjoy some free time for lunch, followed by a walk along the beach.

Next you’ll cross the western farming region en route to the medieval Village of Óbidos, one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal. You'll have some free time to walk around the fortified village that was built over 1,000 years ago. Don't forget to taste the Ginjinha, a wild cherry liqueur in a chocolate cup.

Continue through the western region of forest and pasture, where you’ll see big wind towers that use the strong winds to generate pollution-free electricity.

The tour ends back at your hotel in Lisbon.
