Full description
See the sights of Lisbon – one of the world’s oldest cities and one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals. Explore this city of contrasts on a hop-on hop-off bus tour with a ticket valid for 24 or 48-hours.

The starting point of the tour is Marques do Pombal Square. From this point you’ll have access to three routes featuring more than 40 stops. You can discover Lisbon’s key sights, museums, gardens, and attractions as you hop on and off the bus at your convenience.

There are UNESCO World Heritage Sites to see, such as Jerónimos Monastery and Torre de Belém. You’ll find city squares that you’ll want to stroll through, including the Praça do Município, Praça do Comércio, and the Praça do Rossio.

You can visit museums as well, such as the Museu do Oriente, Museu do Azulejo, and Museu de Arte Antiga. If you like you can also meander through beautiful gardens, including Jardim da Astrela and Jardim do Principe Real.

You certainly won’t lack for things to see and do here. In the evening you might start in the cafés of Chiado before heading to a restaurant for a relaxing dinner in the Bairro Alto – which is the epicenter of the city's nightlife.

Very nice to discover the sights by hop-on-hop-off bus. Beautiful routes that also differ greatly from each other. I have done both routes and also got off several times along the way. Easy to get out when you want. Downside is that you do not know when the bus is coming and sometimes a bit long is waiting.

When we hopped on the bus in the morning, we couldn’t figure out how we kept missing the Belém area—went around twice before we hopped off. Well it was because the driver didn’t go that way for some reason. When we hopped back in in the afternoon, we had a different driver who did go to Belém. Not sure why the driver in the morning was shortcutting that part of the route, but overall we felt we saw a lot of different areas by using the HOPO bus. The earbuds weren’t the best and I’m not sure I learned a ton from the recording. It seemed to be more music playing than talking, which surprised me considering Lisbon’s rich cultural history.

Good experience, facilitated by the possibility of stopping and picking up in 48 hours at the various stops on the chosen route. The presentation in French of the various monuments and places deserves to be deepened with a better explanation for the use of headphones and the desired language. To do as early as possible in the day, in the evening because of the traffic jams in Lisbon, too long time between stops.
