It was fascinating what we saw during the tour. Sintra is beautiful small town with narrow streets and nice shops. Castles are beautiful, especially Quinta de Regaleira with all its surrounding. Capo da Roca is magic, you can see the power of the ocean, and beautiful lighthouse. Cascais is nice Mediterranian town. All in all this tour is a must if you are in Portugal or Lisbon. The only thing that I didn't like is that it was said that the tour will be in English, but the gentleman who was our guide was a driver at same time, speaking in Italian (because a couple from Italy) and English (for the rest of us, five people). The gentleman, that was our guide, is a great guy, but it is not possible to be fully dedicated to tourists if you are thinking where to park a mini-van, to get out of a traffic jam or so. Additionaly, we could hear more about places we visited if the tour was in one language, as it was stated in the reservation.
The tour was really fun, our guide was very enthusiastic and had some really good information, especially about the Pena palace in Sintra. He also answered all of our questions and was clearly passionate about his job and his region. I do feel it was a little bit rushed at times, for instance it would have been nice if we had some more time at Cabo de Roca and Cascais, basically they were photo stops. Overall I would suggest this tour to anyone looking for a great day trip from Lisbon.
A well-planned and informative tour led by an excellent guide, Andre who was friendly, accommodating and clearly very knowledgeable about the local history. Do well organised that we avoided the crazy queues in Pena Palace. Lovely small group which was great. Highly recommend.
Andrea was the consummate guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and can do anything! He gave very interesting In depth commentaries on the Pena palace as well as Cascais, and Estoril. He is an asset to the company and have recommended our friends to take tours with him.
Our tour guide was exceptionally informative & knowledgable on the history of his country. He provided good tips on how to get around & good recommendations on restaurants, etc. Tour flow was well planned. Highly recommend this tour.
