They were pretty much on time to pick us up from our airBNB in San Isidro. the guide Jonothan was very nice. we stopped by some ruins around San Isidro, but only stayed outside of them. we then went through o town. The guide pointed out some sites along the way. We then went to a banking museum which was nice. We then proceeded to see a few sights as we were walking including the main square. We then went to a cathedral and toured the catacombs. They then dropped us back off at our place and did offer to drop us off elsewhere if we like. The car, guide and driver were all nice and the things we saw were fine. We finished in about 3 house. Not sure it was really worth the cost for us. I expected a bit more. I guess given it was a private tour it was fine, and I have no complaints.
We arrived 10 minutes early and the guide was already there and waiting for us. She started our tour right away. We wandered all around the historic district trying a number of savory and sweet treats, as well as several nice drinks. Our guide Diana was very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as telling us lots about local foods in Lima. We had an awesome time on the tour and we would highly recommend it. We do food tours in most cities we visit and this one was one of the best. Make sure to come hungry.
Nicolas gave us so much local information and history, that we relied on it for the rest of our trip in other locations. He took us to several interesting places, never rushed us, always answered our questions. He bought us an authentic churro and took photos of us. Gracias, Nikolas!
Jordan was one of the best guides I have ever had. Personable, authentic, And knowledgeable. Abner was our driver and they made a perfect sidekick who whisking us from place to place effortlessly in serious traffic. Great value for a small group tour.
The whole was marvellous. Loved the special little touches, chiros and extra facts in the morning, the ceviche at the markets for lunch was to die for. Highly recommend this tour. We did morning and afternoon tours in one day.
