What people are saying about Le Marais

Breathtaking experience, spectacular ride across Paris

Caroline, the manager at "Retro Tour" was very helpful and supported to set the ride to a sunny day - basis of 'joyride' on motorbike. Christophe was punctually waiting for us on Concorde at gate to Tuilleries garden. The motorbike was great, a 750 ccm beast, with comfy sidecar, suitable even for non-experienced people. Christophe asked, whether we prefer speedy ride, we choose soft version, it was impressing even so. The route is well elaborated, concentrating on known places and 40 minute is good enough. During the ride is difficult to give long explanations - Christophe was ready to do it - best to enjoy the views of Paris, the breeze, the speed!

It was an excellent and very enjoyable bike ride with Frank and Rudolpho. The route was fantastic with quiet small streets. We like it very much and we learned a lot. They were enthusiastic , told us jokes about the city and after the tour they gave us a map with nice restaurants and nice streets. I recommend this strongly as it was a highlight of our stay in Paris

perfectly guided tour, loads of insights

Frank and Rodolphe are 2 really nice guys and real specialists for insights in historical and contemporary politics and living in Paris. In a mixture of german, english and french (last just for practicing myself, was not necessary) we had a really cool trip discovering a lot of corners east and west of the Seine. Was not the last time, they offer a lot of different events – warmly recommended! It was not my last trip with them, I hope.

Paris: invaders?! small head sculptures coming out of buildings?!

Our lovely guide, Nina, took us all around the common and uncommon places of Paris. We got to know about the history of the fountains, the invaders and the sculptures on the buildings. We also got into the crowded and famous streets for falafels and bakery in the Jewish quarter. Pantheon, the second largest church after Notre Dame, the roman amphitheater, Luxembourg gardens and more were beautiful connected by biking through the side streets of the city. We also got a map of the tour at the end.
