Full description
Travel from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon National Park with 3 hours free time at the deepest and widest part of the canyon. Drive on the historic Route 66 and visit the Grand Canyon Caverns, the largest dry caverns in the U.S.

Enjoy a day tour from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim with a visit to the Grand Canyon Caverns and a drive on Route 66 in a deluxe motor coach. On your way to the South Rim, make your first stop at the Lake Mead Overlook to enjoy spectacular views of this unique desert lake and landscape, created by the construction of Hoover Dam.

Travel through the Mojave Desert, cross over the Hoover Dam via the famous Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, and along iconic Route 66. See the dramatic scenery change as you gain 5,000 feet of elevation. Desert plants and animals change to scenery and wildlife from the Colorado Rockies, with 100-foot tall pines, giant elk, and mule deer.

Once you arrive in Grand Canyon National Park, you’ll have 3 hours to explore the deepest and widest part of the canyon at the South Rim. Your driver will set up your picnic lunch which you can enjoy while taking in the views and learning about various things you can do to make the most of your time in the park. Enjoy popular attractions such as the El Tovar, Hopi House, Kolb Photo Studio, and the Bright Angel Trail — your guide will fill you in on all the details about what you can do and see.

After departing the Grand Canyon, travel on Route 66 to the Grand Canyon Caverns, the largest dry caverns in the U.S., located 200-300 feet below the surface, and accessible via elevator. Descending 21 stories underground, the caverns offer a number of unique geological formations that can be easily viewed.
