What people are saying about Las Vegas

Beautiful views, wild life, history, cool refreshing water

We took the morning tour, the 45 minute drive went by quickly due to the conversation of our tour guides Seth & Lauren. After a quick safety briefing we were paddling along the shore line looking for wildlife. Several lizards, a blue heron, a road runner, and water fowl were spotted. Our guides were great sources of information about the area. We stopped for a short walk up to the remains of two cabins used pre Hoover dam. Opportunities for swimming off beach and photos of a small cave broke up the paddling nicely. The pace was leisurely and provided time to get to know our guides and tour mates. There was time before and after the tour to stop at the marina shop for sunscreen or a beer. The marina also had restrooms for changing into dry clothes after getting off of the water. Our trip lasted about an hour longer than planned, Seth & Lauren learned of a highway closure while on the kayaks and adjusted the trip accordingly. I will be taking the full day tour my next Vegas trip.

This was the most enjoyable activity in my stay in Las Vegas.

I learned a lot about water and the history of the Hoover Dam. It is amazing that in the thirties there were engineers who initiated and carried out such a project at such an advanced stage that even today one looks at it with such marvel and owe. It is clear that such great work could not have been completed without fatalities at a time when technology was still at its lowest and this was for a cause well done as you see the number of tourists coming in and going out to marvel at this great invention with such great revenue generating capacity for the country with such a large number of jobs created for the people of Las Vegas and surrounding countries. One must also appreciate the decent built for the workers. Looking at the demographics of the country it leaves one wondering how on earth did the workers survive under such conditions in this desert which today is a home and a holiday destination to millions across the globe . These are works of genius

A beautiful day paddling up and down the Colorado River.

Morgan and Lauren of Blazin' Paddles gave me one of my best trips ever. I was worried about being able to participate because of some physical problems I have as a four-time cancer survivor. However, they made it almost effortless and made sure I was able to participate fully. Of course, they were helped by the beautiful setting, perfect weather and a great group of fellow paddlers. This is a fun trip I would recommend for everybody. I hope to repeat the trip as soon as I get back to Las Vegas.

Beautiful nature that is so close to Las Vegas!

A short drive from the stripe transports you to a beautiful nature preserve. The views are beautiful! The rock formations are amazing. We did not encounter any wildlife, but we did find evidence of their existence. This is a great way to spend a day. We only spent four hours, but would have liked to have time for a hike. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Well organised, interesting Tour with great guides

Pink Jeep Tours are a well organised company, the Jeep arrived on time, the guide was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The trip was just what it said it was going to be, and was very interesting, with comfortable transportation and free bottled water. We will definitely use Pink Jeep Tours again on our next visit to Vegas, as there are other trips we would like to do.
