Full description
Discover the charms of Lanzarote with this full day tour. Enjoy the incredible views of this unique volcanic island. This unforgettable day will start by going to the southern part of the island throughout the lava coast with a panoramic view of Las Salinas de Janubio and Los Hervideros. Then you will visit the sailor’s village of El Golfo to see the green lagoon.

The visit continues by going to the the Fire Mountains, where the heat in the interior of the mountain can be felt on the surface. You will have the possibility to ride dromedaries and enjoy the views with the slow pace of the animal. Then, between volcanoes and craters, visit the Timanfaya National Park where you will discover the geothermic demonstrations and will do the so-called Volcanoes Route. Go deep into the lava fields and feel like you are on the moon.

At lunch time, Yaiza, a traditional village with picturesque houses, will be the perfect place for you to stop. After a delicious lunch, the bus will pass through La Geria, the wine town and a good example of how the farmers of Lanzarote have adapted to the environment. You will stop in one of the wineries to taste a delicious wine. From there, travel to the North, going through the old main city of the island, Teguise, and passing by Los Valles and Haría, with its incredible view to the Valle de las Mil Palmeras (Valley of the thousand palm trees). Then, arrive to Los Jameos del Agua to visit this natural cave associated with the artist César Manrique. This volcanic cave has a saltwater lagoon where you can discover a unique species, the albino crab, known as Jameito.

The tour was excellent, great tour guide & driver, informative, lots of variety. one thing I would check is that they tell you to wait at a specific bus stop, that wasn't in our instructions, it would also help if they described the bus in some way as there are so many, it would just ease the stress.

We were traveling as a family. The bus arrived on time at the meeting point described. The tour guide - Elena - spoke German very well. We were very well informed about the history of Lanzarote. The tour was very well organized. It was always taken time to visit everything. Special praise to the bus driver who drove super through the narrowest streets. The only downside was why lunch was not given full marks. You could do a little improvement here. Despite everything, we would recommend the tour at any time.

The pick ups were frustrating as added a lot of ‘nothing’ time to the day. Everything well organised and guide’s knowledge and language great, just all felt a bit rushed.
