It was an amazing experience to get in touch with Taquile's island way of living as a coperative social group and in an indepedent way from the mainland country. People there were so kind to show us some of their customs and to serve us delicious sea food :-) we also enjoyed our time spent with some Uros families, who tried to explain us their way of living from fishing, making handicrafts and tourists visiting them. We would like to give many thanks to our guide who was very knowledgable about their customs and he gave us a nice tour in uros and taquile islands!! The boat driver was very good and we were feeling safe during the whole boat trip! We totally recommend this experience! :-)

Very well organized (were picked up from the hotel and brought back again). The visit to Taquile Island and the Uros was very interesting. Our guide, who also spoke very good English, told a lot about the islands and their past. The lunch buffet was very tasty (unfortunately, the cold drinks were not included in the price)

Neither fu nor fa

The coordination of the tour if you have to modify something is a bit distressing, really. The truth is that I chose the most expensive tour thinking that it would be where more places would be visited, but the truth is that only two islands of Uros are visited and in Taquile you don't visit the whole island or by any means, I hoped we would reach the peak more high where the best views are seen. We were halfway there and the excuse was that the water level rose very fast. I think the problem was that I was going with a rather weak group physically speaking. Enjoy the views, the guide, the food and the transport but the tour can be greatly improved.
