Full description
Begin your educational tour at the meeting point in West Glacier. Board a comfortable bus and drive along the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road towards Logan Pass. Take several stops along the route to photograph and view the peaks above the Glacier valley below. At the top of the Continental Divide, enjoy a 40-minute stop as you learn about the sub-alpine ecosystem in the Visitor Center.

Take in the breathtaking views of the 9,000-10,000-foot peaks which surround you and see areas which Native Americans have inhabited since ancient times. Explore favorite hunting camp areas and spiritual locations throughout the area. Stroll along the popular Hidden Lake trail boardwalk which provides easy access into the meadows high above the parking lot. Keep your eyes peeled for the ample wildlife sightings which occur in this area away from the busy road; Rocky Mountain goats and bighorn sheep are seen almost daily.

After admiring stunning panoramas the Upper St. Mary Valley, continue the tour down the winding mountain road towards Lake McDonald. Make a stop at Upper McDonald Falls to view the Sacred Dancing Waters. All drivers/guides are lifetime residents and citizens of the Blackfeet Nation and they will be happy to share a lot of creation stories about the 'Napi' or 'Old Man'.
