What people are saying about La Paz
Our guide was very personable, patient, and kind. The food was a bit heavy. While the three drinks might appeal to a younger crowd, we're middle aged. And suffering a bit from La Paz altitude. Alcohol and high altitude have not mixed well with us. All the same, it was a great tour and we had a fantastic time. Maybe we could have been stronger and said no to the booze.
Ricky, my exclusive tour guide for the 4 hours walking trip through La Paz was very funny and gave me a good overview over the city. It should only say in the description that this is normally a 5 hours walking trip and not a 3 hours hop on hop off drive. I had an appointment afterwards in Achumani, so I couldn't stay the whole 5 hours.
Tour Guide and driver went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent tour. Allowing us to do minor things that were important to our individual likes!
Ramberto & Daniel were a great duo... a Bolivian Ant & Dec... Humorous and entertaining yet VERY INFORMATIVE.
We had two enthousiastic guides (Chris and David) for a group of 20-25 people. We enjoyed it very much.
