What people are saying about La Fortuna
This was an awesome tour. The guide (Fabrice) was very knowledgeable and his interaction with us was excellent. He did everything he could to provide us with great information on everything we saw in the wild and provided great historical information! We felt at home with him. Others who had booked a tour with other companies would come to us and ask what company we had booked through... they saw how great the guide was! The Hanging bridges were amazing... the Water Fall was great (only downfall was having to walk back up the 530 steps..LOL!) and the hike to the lava fields was beautiful. A typical Costa Rican lunch was provided at a local restaurant and it was great! There was also plenty of water. I would recommend this company anytime to anyone.
The tour was just average. We would emailed the wrong pick up location. Fortunately, our hotel knew of your company and told us the correct place to meet. We were picked up last so stuck in the back of the van with only half of a seat so I was hanging off the seat for an hour and half to the river. On the return drive, was again stuck in the back seat and shared it with a cooler. Lunch was very rushed. Probably wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
First time in Costa Rica--what a beautiful country! Ericka was our guide for the day and she was nothing short of awesome. She was information, enthusiastic, friendly, and very patient with the group. We had some kids on our tour as well as some people in their 70s and in between--she was sure to address everyone's questions and inquiries! Rodrigo, our driver was also great! He was safe in spite of the awful weather!
The trip was really good! The Guide showed us many animals and explained si much about the volcano, the plants the animals! They changed the sequence of the activities because in the morning the weather was very clear! so we had a perfect view of the volcano! We had a typical lunch which was really tasty! .
We loved our guide sergio, he was so knowledgeable about the people, volcano history, and wildlife, as well as la Fortuna waterfall, he was especially concerned about our family's safety
