What people are saying about Kyustendil Province

Very much enjoyed seeing the monastery; worth the trip.

Enjoyed my time in Sofia and the trip to the monastery. It was about 2 hours to travel in the traffic, but it was more than worth it. Very friendly people and a knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed having lunch at the restaurant also.

The knowledge of the guide makes the difference

The Rila Monaster and Bojiana Church are beautiful, incredible afrescos, but I thought that 4 hr driving could be too much, but thanks to Cristo our couldn't be a better experience. He has a big knowledge of everything, professional and Joking at the same time.

Rila Monastery is a wonderful masterpiece

The trip was quite pleasant and the guide was very knowlegeable and kept the whole group quite interested and entertained. It is certainly worth to take a day to visit the Monastery. Too bad that te monastery photo policy does not allow pictures of the monastery taken from the top floor verandas where we can have the best perspective, only from the ground level.

Victor is the best travel companion you would have anywhere...

The trip is really fantastic trough the land pf a Bulgarian territory that looks often like tuscany landscape. Food is great and people too. Victor is very interested in traveling also with his family so, for him, to show his place is a pleasure. A fantastic day for really few money!

Beautiful places, extremely helpful and kind guide

the whole experience has been amazing. not only for the destination itself (strongly suggetted), but also for the organization and the helpfulness and kindness of the guide. we booked for a cold morning of january, so there were just two of us. the guide picked us up at our hostel in perfect timing with a car, so it was most of a private tour. the guy explained everything with precision, providing us interesting details about the history of the two monasteries. he was - as I said - very helpful and nice. I would suggest the travel agency and the tour to a fried.
