Great tour around the quieter and beautiful shrines and temples

Our tour guide, Michael, was great - good English and had a lot of local knowledge and history to tell us. We had a nice small group of 6 of us and the cycle was at a good pace. You get helmets and cycling around the area felt safe. I felt like we saw a lot of places in the 3.5 hours we were going around and there was a good mix of cycling and also stopping to see some of the shrines and temples. The only thing I would recommend would be to add a stop for water or food as you have to bring your own but some people may forget, or it wasn't obvious.

Excellent tour with many sites visited in one day.

Tour was excellent. The Temples, shrines, bamboo forest and the golden pavilion were all very interesting. Great tour if you want to visit Unesco sites and experience some Japanese history. Our tour guides were fantastic. Ryosuke was very informative and quite funny at times, making the tour very enjoyable.

A fantastic day seeing some of the best things Kyoto has to offer.

This was a great day visiting some of the best known temples and shrines in the Kyoto area. It was expertly led by Yurika who was knowledgeable, organised, funny and great company. She was welcoming, endlessly informative and so friendly and happy. It was a great environment to spend a day.

Guide very good! Here it stated meeting time 7.30, when it was 8.30

Super bad that they had the wrong meeting time setup in the platform where they sold the tour. That meant we were 80 minutes (as we wanted to be early) before we left. No compensation offered whatsoever. The guide was good and it offers a variety of things throughout one day.

A very good way to see the major attractions.

Take the activity level seriously! The pace is fast and there is a lot of walking on uneven surfaces and up hills. If you are a couch potato, this is not your tour! Tanny was knowledgeable and did a lot of preperatory history while we were in transit between sites.
