What people are saying about Kyoto

Great tour around the quieter and beautiful shrines and temples

Our tour guide, Michael, was great - good English and had a lot of local knowledge and history to tell us. We had a nice small group of 6 of us and the cycle was at a good pace. You get helmets and cycling around the area felt safe. I felt like we saw a lot of places in the 3.5 hours we were going around and there was a good mix of cycling and also stopping to see some of the shrines and temples. The only thing I would recommend would be to add a stop for water or food as you have to bring your own but some people may forget, or it wasn't obvious.

Tour Guide Ms. Hiromi Kanai was Excellent!!

We had an excellent tour of Kyoto by Bus on 18 May thanks to the excellent Tour Guide, The Bus Driver (sorry we forgot the name) and the very good tour plan. We really enjoyed the sites visited, the lunch and the rich narrations about the historical venues that we visited. We will very at recommend this tour to all our friends visiting Kyoto. Thanks to GetYourGuide and Japan Paramount Tours for this memorable trip :-)

The rickshaw ride was great fun and our guide was informative.

In the days leading up to our Rickshaw Tour through the Bamboo Forrest, the company was very communicative and helped us with directions. Our guides, Kota and Kiyo, were helpful and entertaining. They took amazing photos of our family and looked up plant species when we had questions. Our only regret is we wished we had booked a longer tour. Our guides worked so hard to make sure we had a great time.

Our guide was well informed on this subject and taught us a lot.

We learnt a lot about the Geisha and the area in Kyoto that they work in. For instance they are not called Geisha in Kyoto. Our guide was easy to understand and well connected to the Tea room network. Despite heavy rain for the first hour we continued on and enjoyed the tour a lot. Learnt so much and have been sharing my wisdom with all. Good value and informative.

Brilliant tour guide, Mia. Very informative, great English.

What a fantastic tour, highly recommend. We took our three older kids (lots of walking) prob not for younger than 10yrs. An informative, fun walking tour, loved it. Saw a geicko and three miko walking by! Had a wonderful traditional dinner afterwards in the Gion district
