Popular Tours in Kusadasi

We were well pleased that we booked this taxi tour to fit in with the hours our cruise ship was in Kusadasi. Denis was an excellent tour guide and we appreciated all the information he was able to give to us as we drove to Pamukkale (Hierapolis) and also Laodicea. The hot springs are an amazing sight and the ruins of both Hierapolis and Laodicea are quite incredible. It was the highlight of our trip to Turkey! It was great to see something of the Turkish landscape other than what was close to the cruise ports. The van was very comfortable for our adult family of four and we appreciated the bottled water provided.

I mostly enjoyed the trip - guide could have been more enthusiastic about the site - spent more time on facts about Turkey. Meal was mediocre and you should have spent less time/effort on the hotel visit. It wasn't explained the lunch would be in a huge hotel with quite rude staff. The guide didn't eat with us and said afterwards he preferred better quality food which of course undervalued us - obviously we were cattle to be fed! A packed lunch on the bus might have been enough, and more time on the site.

The ruins of the ancient city of Ephesus were unbelievable. The scale of the ancient city, the amount that has been preserved and the detail of the stonework truly amazing. Our guide was very informative and his explanation of the Greek and Roman phases of the city's development enhanced the experience immeasurably. One note of caution: The pathway down from the upper gate was slippery in places and challenging for those not used to hiking on rocks.

Do not miss this tour and guide! We will never forget it, it was very emotional and actually mind-blowing to be able to visit the House of the Virgin Mary - what an honour and a privilege. This tour and guide was excellent and really good value for money. It was the highlight of our cruise and I would urge everyone to go there. Ephesus was awesome also. We left a piece of our hearts there at the House of the Virgin Mary .....

Our private party of four were picked up at kussadasi port promptly without any problems Guide Metin was so interesting and friendly we felt entirely at ease and ready to learn a lot about Ephesus. We were not disappointed as we were guided around this excellent sight. Your company and especially Metin will be highly recommended to family and friends.
