Full description
Take a guided group tour to the famous Nazi concentration camps located in the vicinity of Krakow. Discover how during World War II, this complex was the largest and most deadly prison of all time. Find out where the Nazis murdered as many as 4 million people. In 1947, almost immediately after the war ended, the camps were transformed into a museum. Since then visitors can see the conditions people were forced to live in and literally feel the enormity of atrocities perpetrated upon them.

After being picked up from your hotel or apartment in Krakow, drive for approximately 1.5-hours to reach the memorial site. Begin the tour at Auschwitz I, where you will skip the ticket line and go directly inside with a certified guide after passing through an airport-style security line. After a short 10-15 minute break, travel by bus to Auschwitz-Birkenau II. Embark on a guided tour of the site for 1.5 hours. At the end of the guided portion of the visit, take some free to time to explore and reflect on your own, before returning to Krakow.

I would highly recommend this trip to anyone! The tour guide was amazing, it’s a very difficult story to hear, let alone retell. The only thing I will point out is that there wasn’t much time for food, I would recommend taking a sandwich and leaving it on the bus for the 10 minute break between Auschwitz I & Birkenau.

Must see experience in krakow. Lovely small group and the tour guide was lovely. The bus was small and comfortable as opposed to the stuffy coaches. Driver was a credit to the company, he was super lovely and welcoming. It is very very Cold tho so be wary of that. Thank you x

The driver told us to leave everything in the boot only a tiny bag was allowed. Pity he didn’t tell us to bring some cash, I would have loved to purchase a book or a film here. They had different items to what you would normally see. It was all a bit rushed. I felt like frances Brennan was on tour with us! While I couldn’t fault our actually tour guide, I’m under the impression they have only 3-4 in each of the camps. Some had such fascinating items and things to read and ponder over, I would have loved More time.
