Full description
Travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau on a 7-hour trip from Krakow. Visit the largest death camp in human history, and an infamous site of genocide during WWII. Auschwitz-Birkenau is synonymous with the worst atrocities ever committed.

The camp was built by the Nazis in 1940 in the suburbs of Oswiecim. The total number of deaths is estimated at over 1.5 million people, representing 28 nationalities. Nearly 90 per cent of those killed were Jews.

A visit to the former concentration camp is certain to be memorable because it makes it possible to imagine the scale of the Holocaust. Since 1979 the site has been listed by UNESCO on its Cultural and Natural World Heritage list.

The previous night, we received an email picking up the next morning as promised. The time was the same as what I had ordered. The friendly driver came to pick us up from our hotel. The driver and the guide spoke fluent English. In fact, our female guide at the museums was absolutely great! Everything went really well and smoothly. I recommend!

Luxury travel. Great guide

We were picked up from our hotel bang on time as arranged. The driver Gregory was very polite, spoke excellent English and drove extremely well. On arrival at Auschwitz we were met by Alexandra our English speaking guide. There was no queuing. She was very informative on both Auschwitz & Birkenau and made the whole experience very memorable.

it’s really worth seeing

The transfer was organized on time, at 10.00 we were picked-up from our rent apartments, then all the rest group was gathered the same way. on the way to Auschwitsz we watched the movie in English about the liberalization of the camp. it put us into the atmosphere of that times in 1945. At place upon arrival there was no ticket cue for us, as our guide had prepurchased tickets for our group & we went through the security control in 10 mins before entering the territory. please mind no big bags are allowed. check the web of the museum for this. we were given the headphones & followed our guide, who told us in English the details about both parts of the camp. we’ve finished around 15.30 & were back to Krakow around 17.00. we had a very short break in the middle of the day for snack & coffee. maybe a break after the excursion could be longer than 15 mins, as the whole walking program takes 3,5 hours & all felt tired & wanted to have some more time to eat, go potty & another coffee. :)
