Our guide was amazing such a Lovley passionate woman. This is a place we must visit to ensure this does not happen again. Very sad to go around and just seeing in person the grounds. The tour itself is very planned out. Meeting spot easy to get to. I belive our tour was 6hrs when advertised as 7hrs. Break was short. We had taken pack lunch but didn't get chance to eat it. But enough time to grab a coffee if needed. Must go if your planning to go to Krakow.

This review is more for the organisers than those wanting to book. Firstly having the transfers sorted was very helpful - however I think the last 15min or so of this journey could be utilised with some information about what we were about to see. This is because unfortunately the beginning of the tour seemed to cover basic history (not that I’m shaming those that needed this recap, but could have been covered before our time in the camp) The tour guide was great and very informative. You could hear his enthusiasm and depth of knowledge from the start. However, some advice would be to let what you are saying settle. There was very little silence/ time to reflect, resulting in having to take my headphones off sometimes - to “feel it”. Final thing would be timing. The time in Birkenhau was way too short, by a lot. With the walking needed, I would recommend at least an hour free time before the return transfer to Krakow.

The pick up arrangement was laughable - meant to be picked up at 10.05 am, then received a text to say it had been changed to 10.30. Waited from 10.15 and various coaches arrived and we were rudely told they were not ours. We finally left at 11am. The tour guide at Auschwitz was amazing and the tour was done very sympathetically. Birkenhau was a big let down, yes the weather was not ideal but we were rushed round it - given very little information and no chance to take photos.
