Splendid tour but a bit in a hurry throughout the day

Basically it's a 2-stops tour: visit of Notre Dame-du-Recif (Ferry is taken from Perast) and visit of Kotor (30 min local guide in the old town) Only 2h30 spent in Kotor in total. A lot of time is lost at the borders to go to Montenegro and back to Croatia (in total ~2,5 hours and we were told that we were lucky it was that short bcs can be much longer some days!) Bus driver and agency guide were OK. Even FR spoken because we were a lot of French speakers. City walls are quite slipery and not in good state like in Dubrovnik, so take good sports shoes if you wish to climb them (3eur/pers) The view above the old city from there is worth doing it. Would be worth also spending a night in Kotor to enjoy more of the location. The wonderful Kotor bay is seen mainly through the bus windows.

Alexander was fabulous and so knowledgeable

There was a mix up in our tour time we were told in email and the tour time that our guide was told to meet us, this was unfortunate and took some calling and waiting to get it straightened out. Alexander showed up eventually after a few texts and phone calls, waiting im the heat for almost an hour was not good and the worry we had with our prepaid tour. Once Alexander showed up everything went smoothly and it was a most enjoyable walking tour of Kotor. I will use this site again but will want to confirm tour time the day before with the company.

Well worth the long day. Scenery was spectacular. Paul kept us infomed

Paul was a very interesting and knowledgeable person.well informed on the arts, especially music, which he provided on tape and his singing. He obviously enjoyed interacting with us. His interest in Croatia and us was obvious. The air conditioner on the van was terrible.b

Wonderful trip to the beautiful Bay of Kotor

We had a great time on our trip to Montenegro. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable. The Bay of Kotor was very beautiful, and we learned some interesting history about Montenegro. I do wish we'd had a little more time in the city of Kotor.

Get out of Dubrovnik and see Montenegro!

The trip is good. The ride is long especially if you have to wait at the borders either direction for long. The tour guide from Lea Travel was good with accommodating different languages with translations. Would recommend as a day trip from Dubrovnik.
