Full description
Begin your evening city tour of Kota Kinabalu with a pick-up from your hotel. On arrival at Filipino market, blend in with the locals and experience its seafood galore with great bargains and cheap buys. Indulge in a sensory voyage of aromas and authentic feels from local handicrafts, woodwork, cultured pearls and shirts. It’s a haven for all your travel trinkets and knick-knacks. With its large amount of fresh succulent seafood, you will be spoiled for choice.

You will then visit Signal Hill, offering an amazing bird's eye view of the city. Proceed to the Tanjung Aru Beach to view the beautiful sunset. The greatest sunset on earth occurs every evening when the crimson sun dips slowly into the horizon, leaving the vast skies a brilliant red.

After, you will be heading for dinner on the famous Gaya Street, which sells local food. Originally named Bond Street, Gaya Street is located in the Kota Kinabalu Central Business District which has been the center for business for over a hundred years. The wooden shops with nipah roofs are long gone but here is where generations-old family businesses are still thriving after being passed down from father to son.

For the last stop, you will visit Segama food stalls. Kota Kinabalu Durian Street is a quiet side lane under a pedestrian bridge running from the Central Market to the Post Office. In the daytime, the sidewalk under the bridge is lined with food vendors selling curries, snacks and sweetened coconut water.
